I dont remember everything, but we needed to bring my cat to the vet. My mom was driving me, and I was confused because she used a too-small pouch to carry the cat, no basket. She drops me at a mall type of plaza. Here, it's a bit blurry, but I remember going out with my friends (who I know in real life) I don't remember much but one of them got knocked down by another patron, who then threatened him by flinging a knife into the floor directly above my friends head, where he was knocked down. After another time skip, I was going to the mall waiting for my mom and cat. I called my mom asking where the cat is, and she said the cat was at a persian friend's home. There was some kind of college party going at the mall. I meet with a huge group and since they're drunk they agree to go on an impromptu shopping trip with me. We travel in this strange vehicle, it might have been a bus or truck but with an exposed seatable "roof". One of the girls smoked, but when I ask her to try she said it was a medicinal pen. I found a weed pen myself and hit it a few times. Along the way we stop for what I think was a construction worker. He asked for a pencil and I happened to have one, so I gave it to him. He started rattling off facts about the pencil and basically said it was crappy. We proceeded to go to the store, and it gets blurry here again. But I meet with other people, and suddenly see them erecting a new place. I dont know what exactly it meant, but my cat's name was everywhere, and I think I saw it or its body being raised on a huge pole. I don't know what the store was for or if it even was a store, but it seemed to have my cats essence or soul trapped in it. I was extremely angry, sad, and grieving for my cat, so when one of the people in my group said something about this being a great decision (I think he might have had some part in the creation of this place in the dream) and I grabbed him, threw him on the floor, grabbed his arms and pulled them while pushing down on his body with my foot, trying to dislocate his arms (I have a shoulder dislocation in real life) there are bits and pieces I remember after this. I think eventually we manage to get the cats back, but one is in a sling. There was another part where some friends and I went to a small theater type thing (this might have been around the time we went to the mall) but the seating was small, like one couch. There was another part after everything, the events with the cats where there were some people threatening us from a car, so my friend and I pulled out box cutters to threaten them back with. I cut into the car door and ripped it off, and couldn't help feeling like a knight with the box cutter as my blade and the door as my shield. Thats all I remember
Dreams often weave together various elements from our subconscious, current life events, emotions, and deep-seated fears or desires. Let's dive into the interpretation of your dream:
Cat and Vet Scenario: Cats often symbolize independence, mystery, and femininity. Taking the cat to the vet might represent concerns over health or well-being of something you care about; this could be a person, a project, or a part of yourself. The small pouch might symbolize feeling unprepared or inadequately equipped to address a problem.
Mother and Cat at a Friend's House: Your mom dropping the cat at a Persian friend's home could suggest feelings of reliance on others or trust issues. The mention of a "Persian friend" could allude to trusting friends who seem foreign or unfamiliar in handling delicate matters that are important to you.
Friends and Conflict in the Mall: Malls often represent choices and decisions. The incident with your friend being knocked down and threatened may symbolize your fears and conflicts regarding friendship or social interactions. The act of violence may indicate feelings of vulnerability or aggression in such settings.
Shopping and Impromptu Group: This part of the dream reflects spontaneity and perhaps a search for fulfillment or happiness in communal activities. The medicinal pen and the weed pen signify an exploration of new experiences, both medicinal and recreational.
Pencil and Construction Worker: The construction worker criticizing the pencil symbolizes self-doubt or criticism about your capabilities or resources. It can reflect feelings of inadequacy or the fear that your efforts are undervalued.
Store with Cat Element: The store that features your cat’s essence being raised could suggest feelings of loss or mourning for something you hold dear. It may be an expression of fear regarding losing identity, independence, or control over something precious.
Anger and Conflict with the Group: Your violent reaction to the construction being hailed as a "great decision" could signify resistance to change or anger towards decisions made without your consent that affect you deeply. Your subconscious is possibly expressing frustration, perhaps concerning real-life situations where you feel powerless.
Rescue and Cats: Retrieving the cats represents hope and reclamation, indicating you value and fight for what you cherish. The image of one cat being in a sling might reflect lingering worries or unresolved issues.
Threats and Knight Imagery: The confrontation with the car and box cutters symbolizes standing up for yourself and those you care about. The knight imagery reflects a feeling of empowerment, self-defense, and protection, hinting that you are ready to face challenges with whatever means you have at your disposal.
Overall, your dream might be dealing with themes of protection, inadequacy, vulnerability, and empowerment. There appear to be strong feelings tied to your relationships, your sense of competency, and your desires to preserve what is important to you. It is a reminder to focus on gaining control over your circumstances and to cherish the things that matter to you most.
